Actual costs for authorizing and administering a contract are greater than
the award amount. Pre-bid costs, solicitation and award costs, inspections
and other factors impact on contract administration. The Contract Management
module tracks activities for each major contract phase. Schedules, costs and
unlimited notes are maintained for each task. Each phase can have unlimited
default and user-defined activities associated with it.

Contracts relate to projects, equipment or other cost center. Contracts are
managed through Time Ticket entries. People, equipment and inventory costs
are added to overall contract costs. Schedules, dates, costs and other items
are maintained for each activity.

Activities manage the various elements of a contract phase. Each activity
maintains its own beginning and due date, budget and project notes. User-defined
activities are supported.
Each phase can have unlimited activities including:

- Each activity has specific start, end and other data.
- Time Ticket entries update activity costs within the contract.
- Maintenance and inspection schedules for various components or elements are maintained.
- Testing requirements, schedules, and results are tracked to assist in reporting.
- Maintains log points for GIS, GPS, or other systems.
- Maintains month-to-date, year-to-date, and last year costs.
- Allocates construction, repairs, and maintenance costs to a fund account.
