The "key" to CitiTech's cost management system - A work management and tracking system. Daily Work Reporting module is the primary data entry point for work accomplishment and the costs associated with doing work. This screen forms the basis of activity-based costing and relates work to various components within the system. It ties to both the Work Planning & Budgeting and Work Request modules to track work according to annual work plans and work requests. It facilitates "planned versus actual" cost and performance evaluations based on annual work plans.

Module highlights:

1. The "Relates to" drop-down-list allocates people, equipment and inventory costs to specific assets, locations, jobs, equipment items or other cost center.
2. Automates job costing, payroll reporting, equipment PM and other major functions.
3. Manages various activities (i.e., pothole patching) and tracks performance standards by activity.
4. Updates equipment and inventory usage and costs.
5. Is capable of tracking and reporting internal and contractor furnished labor, equipment, material and operating (i.e., utility) costs.
6. Selecting "Assets/Resources" from the list launches the Builder Screen. This screen builds relationships between the Work Report (or other major screen) and various component parts.
7. Costs flow to Chart of Accounts.
8. Works in conjunction with the optional Work Planning module to allow planned-vs-actual work reports.
