The General Operations module manages any asset not identified separately as a
Pavement, Traffic Safety or Utility asset. General Operations
tracks Jobs/Projects, Parks & Recreation, Buildings & Grounds,
Weed Control, Sanitation Routes, Emergency Services, Capital Improvements,
etc. but the category list can be user-defined to include other asset types, such
as: Sub-divisions, Airports, Golf Courses, etc.

A General Operation (project) can be anything from a parade to a FEMA flood or disaster. People,
equipment and inventory costs are summarized in General Operation Master
Records.
- General Operations (projects) can have unlimited phases or sub-elements.
- Costs can be invoiced and billed to customers.
- General Operations costs flow to Chart of Accounts.
- Overhead costs are applied to General Operations (projects).
- Maintains budget, expenditure, balance data and accumulated costs vs last year costs.
- Summary cost information for labor, equipment, inventory and other costs.
- Projects can be segmented by Department.
- Tracks performance history.
- Unlimited Project Note field.
- Log Point works with GIS and GPS systems.
- Extensive General Operations (project) reporting, including job costing.
